Week 30

TMI ALERT: Well, hello, ANGRY LADYPARTS, my old nemesis. I had hoped not to see you this pregnancy. Alas, it looks like I’m going to have to attempt to foil you with judicious application of swimming, hot baths and Tylenol. Curses.

Bleargh. Feel crummy today. Baby puked all over me this morning. Great...Looks like we both have the plague.

I have, right now, comfortably on my person, a brand-spanking-new pair of jeans...in a size 10. Please join me in celebration! *\o/*

I am only 10 lbs away from my goal weight now. This means it is entirely possible that in my adult lifetime, my pants size might actually become one digit. It boggles the mind.

So I forgot to tell you that my brother is home from the hospital and doing great. We actually got to bring him home last Friday (the 17th) - can you imagine, having brain surgery on a Monday and going home by Friday? Last time he was in the hospital for almost two weeks and on the ventilator for like five days.

Well, we finally have a plan for my brother. First, he started chemo on Tuesday. Last time he was on something called Temodar, which was a pill he took for five days every month. This time it's Taxol, which is a more traditional chemotherapy that required him to go to the oncologist and get an IV infusion. He's supposed to do this every three weeks ( Read more... )

Week 33

Had an ultrasound and OB visit this morning. The ultrasound was to check growth, again, because Dr. Owens is crazy. Okay, because she's still worried about the gestational diabetes (because she is crazy.)
